About Event

Shift Gears. Shift Habits.

✨ Hosted at Rivian San Francisco

Your closet is ready for a refresh, and you are ready for an accessible circular fashion experience! Join Rethink the Runway for Recharge Your Closet, our 2026 Signature Event during SF Climate Week, where style seekers, repair specialists, and sustainability innovators come together to make circular fashion accessible, practical, and personal.

Bring a couple of clothes for swapping or repairing. Leave with new-to-you pieces, a mended favorite, and a whole new perspective on your wardrobe.

The first 100 attendees through the door will receive an exclusive Rethink the Runway pouch packed with a few surprises. 🎁

Event Highlights

🔁 Clothing Swap Trade pieces you no longer reach for and discover something fresh — no money needed, just clothes to contribute.

🪡 Repair Bay Our mending specialists will mend, patch, and revive a garment on the spot. First come, first served — one garment per person.

💡 Lightning Talks & Workshops Short, punchy sessions on circular design, material innovation, and sustainable style. Each one is 20 minutes with time to connect in between.

🏷️ Brand Booths & Lobby Activation Explore mission-driven brands and organizations pushing fashion's circular future forward — including key partners Ethix Merch, Fibershed, and Sway, and a special exhibition featuring outfits made by our menders!

🥂 Light Bites & Drinks Self-serve food and beverages throughout the evening.
