About Event

Stanford's CS 224G class is a project class in the CS department that explores the practical aspects of building using large language models. Students form into teams and spend the entire quarter working on real-world projects that use LLMs at their core. They work in startup-style sprints and build real, functional products.

Come to see the results of their hard work! Each student group will give a lightning talk, followed by a poster session where you can see a demo and interact with the teams directly.

Projects you will see and hear about:

  • An AI-powered user research platform that automates qualitative interviews by using real-time voice APIs to conduct studies and synthesize findings.

  • An end-to-end discovery tool for research conferences that turns one-off events into lasting connections by matching researchers based on shared interests.

  • An LLM-powered expert interview assistant that automates expert vetting calls and provides real-time guidance to junior consultants during expert interviews.

  • A voice-enabled AI companion that translates complex clinical trial consent documents into plain-language conversations, helping patients understand what they’re signing before enrolling in trials.

  • An AI-powered dashboard that transforms voice-captured tasks, technical concepts, and news feeds into interactive, habit-forming "Sticky Notes" with automated recall and summarization.

  • An AI agent that quickly turns software tickets into deployed code to reduce engineering overhead and meet your production needs.

  • An autonomous SRE agent that combines deterministic causal graphs (from OpenTelemetry) with code-aware reasoning to isolate root causes and (as a stretch goal) proactively audit alert quality.

  • An AI task-orchestration interface that turns messy real-world signals into prioritized work items and routes them to agents or humans with explicit decision checkpoints and feedback-driven improvement.

  • A personalized tutor and novel homework system for American school systems that prioritizes safety, critical thinking development, and individualized attention.

  • An AI-powered course assistant that translates uploaded course materials into a conversational interface, providing students with actionable answers and cited sources.

  • An AI-native insurance carrier. Full transparency + cheaper insurance achieved by leaner organization

  • A personalized AI career coach that learns about you and matches you with actionable career strategies, role navigation, and prioritized learning paths.

  • A platform that uses large language models to help users’ decision making and probabilistic reasoning in prediction market opportunities, including contract details, market history, and potential market inefficiencies.

  • An AI-powered infrastructure management system with automated telemetry monitoring and threat hunting.

  • A unified campus social feed with permissioned communities and an access-aware AI copilot that summarizes and answers questions with citations, across labs, classes, and clubs.

  • An agentic voice assistant that navigates Japanese telephone etiquette to autonomously place restaurant reservations for non-Japanese speakers.

  • A structured diagram generation system that enables precise natural language and voice-based refinement of dynamic diagrams for various use cases.

  • An LLM-powered course management system to facilitate learning for students and teaching for educators.

  • An automated red-teaming platform that systematically evaluates healthcare LLMs for safety failures, hallucinations, and regulatory compliance violations before deployment.

  • Most accurate & comprehensive AI using an ensemble of LLMs.
