Critical Connections: Bridging Energy, Minerals & National Security

Following our inaugural event on March 2025, where 40+ leaders defined KolobX’s vision, join us for the 2nd KolobX event as we take actionable steps toward energy security, infrastructure resilience, and economic growth.

This session will unite municipal leaders, energy innovators, infrastructure developers, and investors to tackle real-world challenges—like those faced by fast-growing cities such as Eagle Mountain—and turn constraints into opportunities. Together, we’ll refine KolobX’s role as a catalyst for collaboration and execution, shaping a regional energy roadmap for high-impact outcomes.

Expert Panel

Dr. Matt Memmott
Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at BYU, Dr. Memmott designs advanced molten salt reactors, focusing on nuclear safety and system efficiency. His work enhances passive safety and economics for next-gen nuclear power.

Jeremy Andra
Strategic leader in energy and defense, Jeremy drives microgrid and product innovations like SkyRunner. As a DoD advisor, he bridges commercial and national security solutions for energy resilience.

Evan Berrett
Economic Development Director for Eagle Mountain, Utah, Evan Berrett guides one of the fastest-growing cities in the state. With a background in policy and strategic planning, he facilitates major expansions from tech giants like Meta and Google while fostering sustainable growth for emerging industries in the region.

Ted McAleer
A systems thinker and Harvard-trained strategist, Ted McAleer fuses national defense with startup agility. As a Regional Principal for the Defense Innovation Unit and Co-Founder of Park City Angels, he cultivates ventures at the edge of innovation—spanning digital health, cleantech, and defense. His VBGS Institute equips founders to scale while avoiding the pitfalls of startup failure.
