About Event

Most children are not using AI directly. But the adults around them are.

  • A teacher pulls up activity suggestions for a mixed classroom.

  • A frontline worker checks which family needs urgent follow-up.

  • A parent searches for advice late at night.

These are ordinary moments. But they shape how children are seen, supported, and understood.

So we want to ask:

  1. When these tools guide decisions about children, what does “safety” actually mean?

  2. Who decides what gets built and funded?

  3. Whose feedback shapes the next version?

  4. When something does not fit local reality, who has the power to question it?

  5. And when recommendations come with scores and alerts, do adults feel supported, or pressured to comply?

This panel brings together people who work close to children, in classrooms, clinics, homes, and community spaces. We will start from lived moments and move outward to design, data, and responsibility.

The goal is not to celebrate or condemn AI. It is to think clearly about the kind of childhood we are building around it.

If these systems are part of how the next generation grows up, whose values are we embedding?
