SEWING 102 - With Mary Dancer Browne
Ready to expand your sewing toolbox?
Whether you joined us for Fashion Lab Sewing 101 or it's simply been a while since you've sewn, this beginner-friendly lab begins with a quick refresher on sewing machine basics before introducing two additional machines that can open up even more creative possibilities.
Together We'll Explore:
• A quick refresher on sewing machine basics
• How to thread and use a serger (overlock) machine
• How to thread and use a coverstitch machine
• What each machine is designed to do
• When to use a sewing machine, serger, or coverstitch and why
• Time to practice, experiment, and ask questions along the way
To ensure everyone has time to explore the machines and receive individual guidance, this workshop is limited to 5 participants. With five machines available, we'll have plenty of opportunities to experiment, ask questions, and discover what each machine can do.
