About Event
What is AI Safety, and how can you get involved?
After our launch meetup in October, we are back with a talk for everyone curious about AI safety, hosted by AI Safety Kaiserslautern together with Safe AI Germany.
Johannes Koch (Safe AI Germany) will cover:
How fast AI is progressing, and the risks posed by advanced AI
What we can do about them: the main research directions and the current state of the field
How to get involved: how people with different skill sets can contribute
This event is beginner-friendly. You do not need a background in AI or machine learning. Students from all fields and universities are welcome.
After the talk, stay for pizza and conversation, with vegetarian and vegan options.
