About Event

Join WILDCOAST and our partners for a panel discussion and networking reception focused on the Otay Valley Regional Park, a vital space for conservation and community in South San Diego County.

This event will be open to the public and light refreshments will be provided!

The Otay River is a vital ecological lifeline that crosses multiple jurisdictions, spanning from the sovereign lands of the Kumeyaay in Jamul to the mouth of the river at San Diego’s Bay. Unfortunately, despite its critical role in the region it heavy fragmentation from industrial impacts, agriculture, pollution, and climate change, leaving several areas unsafe for the public.

Our goal is to build a world-class ecological and recreational corridor; a seamless, safe pathway from the mountains to the sea where community members and visitors can experience the incredible biodiversity of our region.

By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of San Diego Climate Week and our event platform partner, Climatebase. Your information will not be shared with third parties.
