'Us v Them' Photo Show — Opening Night
Join us at Selva for the opening night of Us v Them, a one-week photo exhibition inspired by Ronen Givony’s book of the same name.
The show looks back at the under-told, over-told, and rarely seen corners of New York City’s live-music culture in the 2000s and 2010s: empty pools, abandoned warehouses, basement bars, apartment parties, and the beautiful debauchery of a pre-smartphone era ... when a newly open internet helped us find one another and before it kept us from being present.
Curated by Ryan Muir with friends old and new, Us v Them brings together photographs from artists who documented that singular moment in New York nightlife, music, and community.
