Google Codelab: Enhancing E-Commerce Checkout with Browser AI Capabilities

Join this 90-minute workshop to explore how you can leverage new AI browser capabilities to improve the checkout experience for your users! You'll start by learning how to implement a fast, local, and private recommendation engine using the Prompt API. Then, we'll expose the recommendations, and your checkout flow, to user agents using WebMCP.

Requirements
You must bring your own laptop and power cable. The activities are intended for laptops and cannot be completed on a tablet or phone.
A working Node.js development environment with Node 24+
Chrome 150 or greater
(Optional) A coding agent with Modern Web Guidance and DevTools for agents installed
