You are invited to join us for our Bloom Network Founders' Feast! – Builders or Pitch Decks? What Early-Stage Investors Actually Look For, taking place on Tuesday, 8th of April at Canvas Restaurant (VolksHotel) with a beautiful panoramic view of Amsterdam's skyline.
This edition of the Founders' Feast explores how early-stage investors evaluate founders and companies long before scale, traction, or certainty exist.
Throughout the evening, members will engage with our guests:
Reinder Lubbers – Investor at No Such Ventures, backing European software companies with tickets between €0.5M and €5M. Before venture capital, Reinder competed as an Olympic athlete, bringing a unique perspective on discipline, resilience, and long-term performance in building companies.
Leopold Lindner – Principal at Newion, a €120M venture capital fund investing in early-stage B2B software and deep tech across Europe.
Thijs Dijkman - a Partner at Peak, a European VC fund backing high-growth startups, with a strong track record of investing in leading companies across the Benelux ecosystem.
Together, they bring the investor perspective on how promising companies are identified at the earliest stages, and what truly differentiates builders from the noise.

What to Expect
This evening is designed to maximise depth, not noise.
We intentionally keep the group smaller to increase the density of meaningful conversations. This is a no-pitch zone. No fundraising. No selling. No positioning. Just builders meeting builders.
The evening will include:

As part of the Bloom Network talent pool, you will continue to receive invitations to future gatherings. Participation is optional per event, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is encouraged.
Bloom Network is built on commitment and trust. Once accepted and registered, attendance is expected. No-shows without prior notice may result in removal from the community.
Tulip Ventures is a non-profit organisation. All ticket proceeds are used solely to cover the cost of the meal.
