Bookshop Bingo!

​EVENT DESCRIPTION
We are giving our community the best type of challenge this summer, Cherry on Top “Bookshop Bingo”! Now through Monday, September 7, we are challenging YOU to complete our Bingo card. There are 24 squares, 10 chances to win a raffle ticket for our grand prize and tons of ways to interact with Cherry On Top Bookshop this summer.

​*Please note, you do not need to register for this event in order to play.

​HOW TO WIN:

​You can earn one raffle ticket by completing all five squares in a ROW, COLUMN OR ON A DIAGONAL. You can win multiple Bingos! Each time you complete a Bingo line, a staff member will mark the win with their initials. You will be given one raffle ticket for each completed line which will be entered into our Grand Prize drawing. You have 12 opportunities to win and enter to win our Grand Prize.

​HOW TO COLLECT STAMPS:

​Stamp off Bingo squares by visiting the store and either participating in a challenge, attending an event, purchasing a book or merch, or engaging with us on social media.

For example: if you come to the store and show a member of our staff that you tagged a friend in a reel, you’d get a stamp! You can get multiple stamps during one visit. For example, bring a friend on a Monday and buy a romance book, you get three stamps for completing three Bookshop Bingo squares!

​This means you have the opportunity to complete 12 Bingo lines and earn 12 raffle tickets!

​GRAND PRIZE

​Our Bookshop Bingo winner will be pulled and announced on Tuesday, September 8th. The Grand Prize includes a Book Lovers basket. A $150 dollar value with items like mugs, a hat, giftcard, book and tote.

3. ​PURCHASE A ROMANCE READ

   1. ​Have us give you a stamp at check-out

4. ​BRING A FRIEND TO THE SHOP (BONUS: YOU BOTH GET STAMPS!)

   1. ​Bring a friend to the cash register and you both get stamps

5. ​PICK UP A TUESDAY NEW RELEASE

   1. ​We post these weekly on instagram. Buy one that week and get a stamp

6. ​SHARE A BOOKSTORE EVENT IDEA WITH US

   1. ​We are keeping a list behind the cash register. Share an idea and get a stamp

7. ​TREAT YOURSELF TO A STAFF-PICKED TITLE

   1. ​If a staff member recommends a book or you buy a Shelf Talker book, you get a stamp

8. ​TELL US YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE TROPE

   1. ​Just tell a bookshop employee and you will get a stamp

9. ​WRITE A SHELF TALKER REVIEW FOR A BOOK YOU LOVE

   1. ​Ask a bookseller for an index card. Write a shelf talker for a book and you get a stamp!

10. ​VISIT CHERRY ON TOP IN AUGUST

    1. ​Just as it sounds. Stop by any day in August and get a stamp

11. ​SHOP CHERRY ON TOP MERCH

    1. ​Sweatshirt, t-shirt, tote – if it has our logo, you get a stamp

12. ​ADD A CHERRY ON TOP BRANDED STICKER TO YOUR COLLECTION

    1. ​Buy that sticker and get a stamp

13. ​JOIN OUR NEWSLETTER

    1. ​Add your name to our newsletter link through the website and get a stamp

14. ​VISIT THE SHOP WHILE ROCKING BOOKISH MERCH FROM ANY BRAND

    1. ​This could be your favorite book sweatshirt, hat, sticker on your water bottle or pin. Show us that you love to read

15. ​DISCOVER YOUR NEXT FAVORITE ROMANCE AT PITCH-A-BOOK NIGHT

    1. ​This event will take place Wednesday, August 5th. Snag tickets once they go live!

16. ​SNAP A PHOTO IN OUR PHOTO BOOTH & TAG US

    1. ​Tag us in the photobooth or tag us in your printed pic for a stamp

17. ​SHOP IN-STORE STATIONARY

    1. ​Cards, journals, paper goods get a stamp. We recommend sending a loved one a sweet note

18. ​STOP BY ON A MONDAY OR TUESDAY

    1. ​We love to see our community members on these days

19. ​SAVE ONE OF OUR REELS IN INSTAGRAM

    1. ​Just show a bookseller that you saved a reel and you get a stamp

20. ​NOMINATE AN AUTHOR FOR A FUTURE EVENT

    1. ​We are keeping a list behind the cash register, share your ideal Author for a stamp

21. ​VISIT US ON ROMANCE BOOKSTORE DAY

    1. ​Saturday, August 15th; stop on by our favorite day of the year and you get a stamp

22. ​SHARE A CHERRY ON TOP REEL WITH A FRIEND

    1. ​Send that DM and get a stamp

23. ​ATTEND AN AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT EVENT

    1. ​There is one in July and one in August. If we see you there, you get a stamp. (This event is free and you can just stop on by)

24. ​TAKE A SELFIE BY OUR NEON SIGN & TAG US

    1. ​We love our community! Snap that pic, tag us and get a stamp
