​Paul Christiano (Alignment Research Center) gives the second lecture, Oversight: Staying in control of self-improving AI, on keeping meaningful control of AI systems as they become able to improve their own performance. Geoffrey Hinton hosts and Sínead Bovell moderates. The Hinton Lectures are the AI Safety Foundation’s annual series, held this year during AI Safety Week in Toronto.
