VFP @ the Bench

​This is a monthly gathering of campaigners, creators, and creatives, to get to know each other and strategize on shifting culture for a pro-democracy world. Most of the night is spent sipping a drink, eating cake, and meeting rad people. We also invite a couple speakers to present on their expertise.

​This Thursday, May 28th, our theme of conversation is ending billionaire control of AI, and protecting human culture while we’re at it. Huge goals!

​Our speakers: Sneha Revanur, a 22 year old AI accountability activist and one of the top policy experts we know. Plus Adam Aleksic, aka the Etymology Nerd, who’s obsessed with how algorithms change our culture and goes viral explaining it.

​A few remarks by Sneha and Adam, QA, then a full group discussion. This could be the beginning of a bigger campaign! Otherwise, beers and friendship. Around thirty people.
