About Event

A relaxed Halloween drinks after our AGNTCon + MCPCon talk, with Antoni Kozelski and Bartosz Gonczarek from Vstorm. The restaurant is decorated for Halloween, so the topic suits it: The agent failures we have seen in production and what we changed after each one. There are no slides. Your first two drinks and the snacks are on us.

What we will talk about

  • Agent horror stories. Real production failures, told plainly: What broke, why, and what we changed.

  • MCP and Pydantic AI in production. Where each held up in client systems and where it did not. That includes why the same MCP server behaves differently in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex, and why rules for irreversible steps belong in the server, not the prompt.

  • Open standards in your own projects. In 2025, Vstorm became the first agentic AI engineering company to join the Agentic AI Foundation. The AAIF hosts the open standards for agentic systems, MCP among them. We will show how we apply them in client work and how you can apply them in yours.

  • What we contributed back. Our engineers are core contributors to open-source projects and open standards for agentic AI. They have merged 10 pull requests into Pydantic’s official repositories, and code from four of our open-source libraries is now in the Pydantic AI Harness. Of our 15 pull requests, 5 were closed, and we will tell you why.

  • Your own build. Bring the agent you are working on and the part you expect to break first. You will get a direct answer, even when that answer is that an off-the-shelf tool fits better than a custom build.

Who it is for

Engineers, architects and technical leaders who are building agentic systems or deciding how to build them. You do not need to have seen the talk.

Your hosts

  • Antoni Kozelski, CEO & Founder, Vstorm

  • Bartosz Gonczarek, CTO & Founder, Vstorm
