Redefining the Black Aesthetic: BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions
If you could imagine a more just world beyond antiblackness, what would the future look like for you?
Let's reflect and discuss! We invite you to join Infinity Village Lab and the Black Graduate Student Coalition this upcoming Friday, October 23rd for a film screening of BLKNWS, and engage in critical conversations surrounding what it means to think beyond the systems that oppress us.
What is BLKNWS?
BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions is an experimental 2025 film that weaves personal stories and current uses of media with depictions of black figures and histories to envision Black consciousness. In these ways, it is a film that serves to show us the many different ways we express, act and theorize in the face of suppression and hardship.
Admission is free and popcorn will be provided while supplies last - we hope to see you there!
