A Journey Into Self: Writing as a means of expressing our intuition
Can writing a journal be an expression for the inner intuition?
A Journey Into Self is a series that invites you to pause and turn your attention inward, through creative exploration and contemplative practice. This intimate series offers a doorway into deepening your understanding of and relationship with yourself—through poetry, art, and reflective journaling.
In our third edition of A Journey Into Self, we turn to writing to explore the relationship between the outer self — the walking, thinking, seeking part of us — and the inner self, the deeper landscape of intuitions, feelings, and awareness that often remains unheard.
We often seek outside for answers, but our intuition remains the sanctuary where important questions can find its homage. Writing a journal can be one tool that is useful for those who seek.

A note on the hands-on writing activity
This activity involves two parts:
• Writing the question/topic we would like to explore: represents our outer self that wanders, searches, and experiences life day by day.
• Listening as the answer flows: like our breaths, the inner intuition is always there with us, if only we give space to listen to it. Let the mind take a break. With the pen in our hands, our hearts guides the hands that write.
The activity will be guided, with facilitators present to offer prompts and support throughout the creative process.
We look forward to seeing you there.
