AI Learning Meetup

​Curious about AI and looking for people to learn it with? Join us for a relaxed Saturday morning over coffee, where we share what we're learning, help each other out and get inspired to build. You'll also get learning resources and AI tools to help you keep getting better with AI after the meetup. It doesn't matter if you've never opened ChatGPT or you're already making your own tools.

​We'll sit around one table and talk about how we each use AI: running automations, keeping a second brain, and building small tools and web apps with Claude Cowork, Claude Code, MuseAgent and more. Bring what you've built, what you're stuck on or just your questions. Everyone shares, everyone learns, and you'll head home with fresh ideas and the push to try something of your own.

• ​11:00 AM: Arrive, grab a coffee and settle in

• ​11:15 AM: Quick intros: who you are and where you're at with AI

• ​11:30 AM: Open conversation on tools, workflows, wins and sticking points

• ​12:30 PM: Show and tell for anyone who wants to share

• ​1:00 PM: Wrap up, or stay and keep chatting

​💰 Cost

​$15 CAD per person - It covers your seat at the table and the learning resources we share, and it's non-refundable.

​🚗 Getting there

​We'll be inside Waves Coffee House at 599 6th St, New Westminster, on the corner of 6th St and 6th Ave. Look for the table with the laptops.

​It's about a 15-minute walk uphill from New Westminster SkyTrain station.

​🎒 What to bring

• ​A laptop, tablet or phone, if you'd like to take notes or show something

• ​A charged battery, since outlets at the café can be limited

• ​Your questions, even the ones that feel basic

​Anyone who's curious about AI. You don't need to be technical or have used it before, and every question is welcome. If you already use AI every day and want to start building your own tools, you'll find good company here too.
