This is the day the farm goes into the ocean.
Join us on National Maritime Day to celebrate the official launch of Portugal's first regenerative seaweed farm. After three years of collaboration between surfers, scientists, and fishermen, we're putting this bold idea into action in the Bay of Nazaré.
The Day:
11:00 AM - Meeting point at the Mountains of the Sea hangar. Community harbour cleanup.

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Boat trips to the Regenerative Seaweed Farm - your chance to see firsthand where ocean regeneration will happen in the Bay of Nazaré (limited spaces, first come first served)
If you do want to participate on the jet skis and boats, we recommend bringing wetsuits or clothes you are happy to get wet in.
Complimentary food and refreshments provided throughout the day.
