Beyond the Surface

​Beyond the Surface is a collaborative effort by She TechIt Africa, Ladies in Design Network, and The Dsgn Junkies, bring women in design and creative fields together for honest conversations, practical learning, and meaningful connection.

​The conference is about going beyond polished portfolios, job titles, and social media highlights to talk about the real experiences that shape women’s careers in design. It creates space for open discussions around identity, visibility, growth, confidence, and navigating the industry as a woman.

​Through panel discussions and hands-on workshops, Beyond the Surface offers participants real stories, shared lessons, and practical insights from women who are actively building and sustaining careers in design. The goal is for attendees to leave feeling seen, informed, encouraged, and more confident in their own journeys.
