특히 AI·테크 분야에서 샌프란시스코가 전 세계 초고급 인재를 빨아들이는 블랙홀이라는 사실은 누구도 부인할 수 없습니다. 하지만 현실적으로 모두가 지금 당장 샌프란시스코로 떠날 수는 없죠.
흥미롭게도 최근 글로벌 AI 기업들이 한국에 오피스를 세우는 사례가 늘고 있습니다. 한국 시장 공략이 목적이라기보다는, 한국의 유능한 AI 엔지니어를 채용하기 위해서입니다. 한국에 머물면서 전 세계 최고급 인재들과 협업할 기회가 있다면 그야말로 '금상첨화' 아닐까요?

마침 골드만삭스가 투자하고, 최근 1,000억 원 규모의 Series C 투자를 유치한 감사·자문(Audit/Advisory) 분야의 독보적인 버티컬 AI 스타트업 'Fieldguide'가 미국 외 첫 글로벌 지사인 Fieldguide Seoul을 한국에 설립하며 Founding Member를 찾고 있습니다. (참고. 비즈카페: 링크드인 게시글)
Fieldguide는 매년 3배씩 초고속 성장 중이며, 현재 미국 Top 100 회계법인의 절반 이상이 이들의 AI 솔루션을 도입해 사용하고 있습니다. 가장 보수적이고 레거시하다고 여겨지던 감사·자문 분야를 AI로 어떻게 혁신하고 있는지, 그리고 어떻게 미국을 넘어 글로벌 시장을 뒤흔들고 있는지 그 생생한 노하우를 함께 나누고자 합니다.

Y Combinator(S20) 출신으로, 미국 EY에서 감사 및 자문 컨설턴트로 근무했으며, 이후 트위터 공동창업자 Justin Kan이 이끄는 법률 스타트업 Atrium에서 Chief of Staff를 지냈고, 2020년 Fieldguide를 창업했습니다.
회계법인 Big4에서 근무하던 시절 "이런 AI 솔루션이 있었다면 좋았을 텐데"라는 생각에서 출발해 창업에 이르렀으며, 현재 Fieldguide는 미국 실리콘밸리에서 손꼽히는 탑티어 버티컬 스타트업으로 자리 잡았습니다.

포항공대를 거쳐 실리콘밸리로 건너가 Fieldguide AI 팀의 초기 멤버로 합류했습니다. 이후 Fieldguide의 AI 제품들을 최전선에서 만들어 왔으며, 이제 Fieldguide Seoul을 세워 세계적 수준의 AI 프로덕트 팀을 처음부터 만들어 가고 있습니다.
Kibeom Kim · ex-Google, Terminal X CTO (LinkedIn)
실리콘밸리 구글 본사에서 9년 넘게 소프트웨어 엔지니어로 근무하며 TensorFlow와 AdMob 팀의 Tech Lead를 지냈습니다. 이후 뉴욕에서 Terminal X를 공동창업하여 Series A까지 성장시켰고, 현재는 한국에서 오픈소스 데이터베이스 스타트업을 시작하였습니다.

"If you're #1 in Seoul, you're #1 in Korea. But if you're #1 in San Francisco, you're #1 in the world."
No one can deny that San Francisco is a black hole pulling in the world's top talent, especially in AI and tech. But realistically, not everyone can pack up and move to San Francisco right now.
Interestingly, more global AI companies have recently been setting up offices in Korea. The goal is less about targeting the Korean market and more about hiring Korea's talented AI engineers. 🚀 Founding Members wanted in Korea, the first global office outside the US
Fieldguide, a standout vertical AI startup in the audit and advisory space, backed by Goldman Sachs and having recently raised a $75M Series C, is establishing Fieldguide Seoul, its first global office outside the US, and is looking for Founding Members.
Fieldguide is growing 3x year over year, and more than half of the top 100 US accounting firms now use its AI solutions. We want to share the real story of how they're using AI to transform audit and advisory, long seen as one of the most conservative, legacy-bound fields, and how they're shaking up not just the US but the global market.
✨ Alongside Fieldguide, this event welcomes a special guest speaker: Kibeom Kim, who built his career at Google's Silicon Valley headquarters before becoming a startup CTO in New York. He recently chose Korea for his next venture, believing that Korea's deep pool of talented developers makes it a realistic launchpad for building global businesses, much like Fieldguide is doing. Through his journey from Google, to founding a startup in Silicon Valley and New York, to founding again in Korea, he'll share why Korea could be the next global stage.

A Y Combinator (S20) alum, Jin worked as an audit and advisory consultant at EY in the US, then served as Chief of Staff at Atrium, a legal tech startup led by Twitter co-founder Justin Kan, before founding Fieldguide in 2020.
The idea took shape during his time at a Big 4 accounting firm, where he kept thinking, "I wish a solution like this existed." That thought became a company, and Fieldguide is now one of Silicon Valley's leading vertical startups.
Junsoo Jang · Fieldguide Korea Hub Lead, Senior ML Engineer (LinkedIn)
After studying at POSTECH, Junsoo moved to Silicon Valley and joined the Fieldguide AI team as an early member. Since then, he's built core AI capabilities across the platform, and is now building a world-class AI product team from the ground up at Fieldguide Seoul.
Kibeom Kim · Ex-Google, Terminal X CTO (LinkedIn)
Kibeom spent over nine years as a software engineer at Google's Silicon Valley headquarters, serving as Tech Lead on the TensorFlow and AdMob teams. He then co-founded Terminal X in New York, and is now starting an open-source database startup in Korea.
