Chicago, IL – This October 1 through 4, two nationally recognized creative forces, Meridith Grundei and Jamar Jones, are teaming up to host The Unscripted Retreat in Chicago, IL, a high-energy experience for people building something real and ready to own their voice.
The retreat culminates in a one-night-only Unscripted performance on Saturday, October 3 at 7:00 PM CDT at Instituto Cervantes of Chicago located at 31 W Ohio St, Chicago, IL.
Each speaker will take the stage to deliver a 5-minute experience shaped by a custom storytelling recipe that pushes boundaries and sparks connection. These aren’t your average speakers. They’re entrepreneurs, creatives, and thought leaders stepping into their spotlight and you get a front-row seat.
This isn’t just another night out. It’s a one-night-only invitation to be part of a national movement.

Where: Instituto Cervantes of Chicago located at 31 W Ohio St, Chicago, IL
Ticket Price: $25 — All proceeds will go to ABC Reentry, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization founded by criminal justice advocates and wrongfully convicted individuals who work to help those returning home from incarceration successfully rebuild their lives.
