Hack & Yap: Anti-Brainrot
🍕 Pizza & Friends presents Hack & Yap: Anti-Brainrot Party
with GitHub Education, hosted at Zero-Ten Park
Too much scrolling this week? Same. Come touch grass with us, indoors, with pizza!
Hack & Yap is our grand meetup, an afternoon for curious people who like ideas, internet culture, tech, and conversations that go somewhere unexpected. Episode 1 filled a café in Pasay with 50 people and 7 hackathon teams. Episode 2 moves to Makati, with GitHub Education back as our partner and Zero-Ten Park opening their space for the afternoon.
Here's what you can expect!
🧠 The Brilliantly Dumb Hackathon
Solve a problem that does not exist, with tech that should not be used, for users who do not want it. Pitch only, no working build needed. Teams of up to 3. Three minutes to pitch, and the room votes. Submissions (a short brief and one image) close Friday, Oct 16, 10:00 PM.
To join, indicate your interest in the question that appears in our registration form. Approved teams will receive an email on the specific mechanics.
🎤 Slides Party (open mic)
Ten minutes on something you care about. A project, a hot take, a niche obsession. If it makes the room think or laugh, it belongs here. Tell us in the form if you want a slot.
🍕 Pizza, human bingo, and a lot of new friends
Come just to hang out, or build, pitch, and talk. Plus ones are welcome, just make sure they register too.
