About Event

Tool Time: Agentic AI Assistants

AI assistants have moved past answering questions. The new wave actually does things for you: triaging your inbox, managing your calendar, running tasks in the background while you get on with your day.

At this Tool Time, four community members will each spend about 10 minutes showing how they use their agentic assistant in real life, followed by Q&A. No sales pitches, no polished keynotes. Just people who use these tools every day showing what works, what doesn’t, and what surprised them. Come curious, bring questions, and leave with a better sense of which assistant might actually earn a spot in your day.

Lineup

🎓 Namya: Claude Code and the tooling built around it, set up to handle email and schoolwork, with ideas for how you can use it at work or at home
🦉 Whitney Menarcheck: Town
🔵 Rex Harris: Dots
📡 Reed Verdesoto: GrokBot (Personal Signal)

How it works

Each presenter gets roughly 10 minutes. A few minutes to introduce the tool and show it in action, then the rest opens into conversation. Bring your questions, your own use cases, and your "wait, how did you do that!?" moments. The Q&A isn't an afterthought here, it's most of the value and we'd love it to feel more like a conversation.

Who it's for

Anyone curious how other people are using AI. Come to learn, come to share experiences, or come to make the case as to which tool is better.
