New Wave Successes & Struggles
Do you want to learn more about climate design and how it can apply to your curriculum? Unsure where to start? Experiences you’d like to share? Join the New Wave team’s Struggles & Successes event where we’ll share insights about teaching climate resilience in design.
This event is an opportunity for you to share your successes and struggles, but also an opportunity to be a part of the future of climate resilience in design education.
During this free virtual event, we’ll give educators the opportunity to introduce themselves and their work, participate in a casual workshop activity, and then have time to share our successes and struggles from the past semester.
Help us plan our programming for 2027
Celebrate your successes in the classroom
Share your frustrations about what is not working
Explore climate topics and their potential for design curriculum integration
Connect with peers who care about climate action in design education
This event is very similar to the monthly series hosted by our partner, Climate Designers, however New Wave will focus specifically on educators’ experiences teaching at academic institutions and building our community. Your ideas and discussions will also help us plan for future content and workshops!
