ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Caloo Fredrick is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and accomplished Tax Consultant specializing in wealth advisory, with extensive experience in financial management and strategic program implementation. He currently serves as the Grant Finance Manager at Franky's Foundation in Nairobi, and also provides payroll consulting services for Ethereal Harmonie Limited, also based in Nairobi.
Caloo is actively leading an e-waste training project aimed at equipping 200 individuals over a 6–12 month period with sustainable skills. With over 10 years of experience at Aga Khan Academy Mombasa as a Bursar and Credit Controller, he has developed strong expertise in financial systems, reporting, and compliance.
He has also worked at Gourmet Master Limited as Head of Operations, where he led business operations for imports, managed commercial invoicing, and streamlined all accounting processes. In this role, he ensured that every staff member was fully conversant with the ERP accounting system by spearheading training and process integration. His core functions included:
Overseeing the end-to-end imports process, including supplier coordination, shipping documentation, and customs compliance.
Managing and verifying commercial invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with trade regulations.
Implementing and maintaining ERP-based accounting operations to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
Training and mentoring staff on ERP system usage to align operational and financial reporting standards.
Coordinating cross-departmental processes to ensure smooth operational flow from procurement to sales.
He is also engaged in developing a radio-based learning program, focusing on scriptwriting and mentoring learners.
