About Event

We’re told bonding with your baby is supposed to feel magical, instant, and all-consuming—but that’s not everyone’s experience. In fact, many new moms feel confused, disconnected, or even ashamed when bonding doesn’t happen the way they expected.

Join us for a real, open conversation about what bonding actually looks like—and all the ways it can happen over time. Led by Allie Loeb, LCSW, and Alli Bankston, Navara's Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C), this supportive session is here to help you explore the truths behind the myths, discover overlooked ways you may already be connecting with your baby, and release the pressure to "feel a certain way."

What We’ll Talk About:

  • Breaking the Myths – Challenging the idea that bonding has to be instant or look a certain way.

  • All the Ways We Bond – Exploring emotional, physical, and even quiet connections that count more than you realize.

  • You’re Not Doing It Wrong – Why delayed bonding is common, especially after birth trauma, postpartum struggles, or NICU stays.

  • Connection on Your Terms – Simple, pressure-free ways to build a connection in your own time and your own way.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, November 13, 2025

  • Time: 7:00 PM EST

  • Led by: Allie Loeb, LCSW and Alli Bankston, PMH-C

  • Recording: Can’t attend live? No problem—registrants will receive the replay after the session.

This isn’t about judgment or picture-perfect motherhood. It’s about real talk, real connection, and remembering that bonding doesn’t have to follow a script.
