Men's Emerald Tent: The Wounded King
There comes a point in many men’s lives when something quietly shifts.
What once felt clear no longer does.
What once felt strong feels harder to access.
And what cannot be easily named is often carried alone.
This gathering draws from an ancient myth called The Wounded King—a story of a man who continues to lead, provide, and endure while something essential within him has gone quiet.
What to expect
The Emerald Tent is a guided, in-person experience designed to support nervous system regulation and creative renewal.
The evening unfolds as a sequence of immersive practices:
A threshold forest immersion to gently cross out of the thinking mind and into the imaginal field
The telling of a mythic story that opens the inner terrain
Small group witnessing (triads) for reflection—no fixing, advice, or analysis
Gentle somatic practices to settle and reconnect with the body
Immersive Sound & Collective humming to support coherence and integration
An afterglow with nibbles and tea to ground, connect, and restore
Why this matters
Many men have been taught to carry, solve, and move forward—often without space to pause, feel, or be met.
This is not a space to perform, define, or fix what it means to be a man.
It is a space to step out of that pressure entirely.
To reconnect with what is real.
To be witnessed without expectation.
And to allow something quieter—and more vital—to return.
