About Event

Fractional CFO Ankush Bhatia is hosting an interactive, 45‑minute session on preparing for a Series A raise and what investors are looking for:

  1. Balancing debt and equity

  2. Navigating different debt options

  3. Negotiating with suppliers

  4. Managing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

The event is for consumer health start-ups that are optimising their strategy ahead of or during a Series A raise.

The event is limited to six founders and will be held under Chatham House Rules; this is a safe space to share challenges and get detailed, practical advice.

Ankush has worked with several start-ups and scale-ups in the consumer space, including AKT, BikeClub, Cera Care, Hussle (acquired by EGym / ClassPass) and Magic AI.

Prior to his career as a fractional, he operated as a full-time CFO, primarily in B2C businesses across a number of sectors (ecommerce, marketplaces, fitness, healthtech, consumer lending and the circular economy).

Ankush started his career in investment banking in New York, working at a couple of bulge brackets (Goldman Sachs and Royal Bank of Canada) and also has an MBA from Columbia University. He is originally from Mumbai, spent his 20s in New York and has now been in London for the past decade. Outside of work, he is an avid traveler and foodie and loves to ski and play tennis.
