Microsoft Copilot for Finance Leaders

Putting AI to Work Across Excel & Microsoft 365

For many finance teams, the AI revolution doesn’t require adopting an entirely new way of working.

It may start inside the tools they already use every day.

Join Bereisheet Tech, KPMG, Datarails and AI Finance for a hands-on workshop focused on using Microsoft Copilot for finance.

This workshop is different by design: you won’t be learning AI for finance from technologists. You’ll be learning AI from finance professionals. The people leading the session understand the day-to-day realities of CFOs and finance teams because they work in finance themselves. They’ll approach Claude/Copilot through a finance lens, focusing on real workflows, real challenges, and practical applications that finance leaders can actually put to work.

Designed specifically for finance leaders, this session will move beyond demonstrations and into practical exercises showing how Copilot can support real financial work across Excel and the Microsoft 365 environment.

Bring your laptop. This is a working session.

What We’ll Explore

• Using Copilot inside Excel
• Working with financial datasets and workbooks
• Creating and refining formulas, tables, charts and PivotTables
• Exploring and explaining financial data
• Identifying trends, variances and exceptions
• Turning analysis into management-ready communication
• Using Copilot across the Microsoft 365 workflow
• Supporting repetitive and manual finance processes
• Checking AI-generated outputs and maintaining professional controls
• Understanding permissions, security and responsible AI use

We’ll also discuss an important question for finance leaders:

Where should Copilot assist your team, and where should people remain firmly in control?

The goal is not AI for the sake of AI. It is learning how to use AI to make finance teams faster, more analytical and more effective while maintaining appropriate oversight and judgment.

Who Should Join?

Designed for a small group of:

CFOs • VPs of Finance • Controllers • FP&A Leaders • Finance Directors • Senior Finance Professionals
