Speakers Bio
Russell Tait is a cybersecurity leader with 30+ years in enterprise security, privacy, and AI risk management. He has consulted for dozens of world-class enterprises across IAM and application security, and holds CISM, CDPSE, and CIPT certifications. An OWASP member for over 15 years, Russell contributes to the OWASP GenAI Security Project and is currently focused on the emerging security challenges of Physical AI — the attack surface where AI meets the physical world.
Emily O'Carroll is a Field CISO with GuidePoint Security. Prior to GuidePoint, she was the CISO at Callaway Golf (previously Topgolf Callaway Brands) for over 9 years, overseeing a global team of 34 people. At Topgolf Callaway Brands, she built the cybersecurity strategy, program, and team during a period of extreme revenue growth and acquisition, increasing annual revenue from $800M to $4.28B. She and her team led the cybersecurity due diligence and integrations during the acquisitions of Topgolf, TravisMathew, Ogio, and Jack Wolfskin. She started her career in management consulting as an intern at KPMG in 2005 and left as a Director in 2015. She worked with major companies across all industry verticals, including Fortune 50 companies. Emily is a graduate of UC San Diego and has her bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Dance.
