About Event

It works. That much is not in question. The question is what it costs.

Running an e-commerce business, a research platform, a trading workflow, personal health coaching - all through a single messaging app. No team. Just AI agents and Telegram.

That agent is built on OpenClaw - and it does not wait to be asked. It monitors, decides, and executes. It emails suppliers, generates trade signals, publishes research, and manages an inbox. All of this happens while we're all asleep.

Will you stop checking everything? Will you stop approving every step? Will you extend a significant amount of trust to a system that does not ask for your permission? And if you do, will the concept of control start to look different?

Tech leader Tanveer Mohammed is doing this now. Not as an experiment. As infrastructure. He is coming to tell us what that actually looks like - and a room full of people with views will do the rest.

As ever, we’ll be at Synechron's office, Gresham Street, EC2. A massive thank you to Synechron for providing the venue.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, we kick off at 7:00 PM, and wrap up by 8:30 PM. Drinks and snacks provided. Come ready for proper discussion, new connections, and ideas worth thinking about.

--- THE THEME - PRODUCT IS... TRADING CONTROL FOR TIME ---

AI agents are no longer a concept. People are running them now. Not inside enterprise platforms with governance frameworks and change management processes. On their own, with a VPS, a Telegram chat, and a model that does not need to be told twice.

The outcomes are real. Emails sent. Orders placed. Research published. Trades executed. Things that used to require attention, time, and a series of deliberate decisions are now happening autonomously.

But something is being traded in return. When an agent acts without your approval, you are not just saving time. You are giving up a moment of oversight. Multiply that across dozens of workflows and the question shifts: what does control actually mean in a system like this, and how much of it do you need?

This is not a question about whether AI agents are useful. They clearly are. It is a question about what a sustainable relationship with autonomous systems looks like - and whether the product community has thought hard enough about what we are designing people out of.

Together, we will be exploring what it actually looks like to run your life and work through an AI agent, what the real risks of agentic delegation are versus the perceived ones, and what product teams building these systems should be asking themselves.

--- THE SPEAKER - TANVEER MOHAMMED ---

Tanveer is a Senior Legal Engineer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton, one of the world's most respected international law firms. Before that, he was an FDE at OpenRouter and CTO at Niya. He has spent more than a decade building AI and data-driven products across finance, retail, healthcare, and the public sector - from computer vision systems to large-scale digital transformations.

He hosted a fully AI-curated dinner for 12 leaders - selected, seated, and fed by a bespoke model he named Aria. He ran OpenClaw workshops that drew over 100 attendees and a waitlist of 400. He runs live AI agents across his personal and business life: not as experiments, but as infrastructure.

He is the kind of person who does not wait for the right time to start building. He is already running.

-------- ABOUT 'PRODUCT IS...' --------

PMs, UX & UI designers, user researchers, developers - you like to dream big when it comes to digital products… Now it's time to share your perspective!

'Product is…' grounds itself in informed, knowledgeable context and healthy conversation - vital ingredients to tech success. One keynote speaker sets the tone on a theme of less travelled subject matter before all attendees add their perspective during the second half of round table-style discussion.

Don't expect standard tech meetup fare like "How to improve your CV/Portfolio for that dream job at Facebook" or "How this new framework/approach will improve your workflow" - this meetup is food for the mind, but also a place to meet like-minded big-thinkers! We welcome everyone who works in tech - EVERYONE has a valuable perspective that we learn from.

-------- WHY WE CHARGE FOR TICKETS --------

We do not aim to make a profit from this meetup, our goal is to create healthy and interesting conversations, meet new people and make new connections. Speakers and the organising team give up their time free of charge to ensure the events are enjoyable for all. A charge is required for attendance - this allows the organisation team to cover overheads, plus food and drink for the evening. To be clear, we're working towards lowering our costs as much as possible to keep ticket prices as low as possible.
