​Gabrielle Caron is Senior Vice President, People at 1Password, where she leads the global People function for more than 1,500 employees across a distributed workforce. Over the past four and a half years, she has helped shape the company’s approach to talent, leadership, culture, and organizational design through rapid growth and transformation. With more than 15 years of experience at McKinsey and in the technology sector, Gabrielle has built her career helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity, embrace change, and grow through periods of uncertainty. She brings a pragmatic, data-informed, and deeply human approach to leadership, and is passionate about creating environments where high performance, trust, and human connection reinforce one another.
​Based on Montreal’s South Shore, Gabrielle lives with her husband, Mathieu, their two daughters, and Wesley, their foster service dog in training with the Mira Foundation. Outside of work, she is happiest pursuing activities that challenge her and take her beyond the familiar: from trail running, hiking, backcountry skiing, and wake surfing to CrossFit and Pilates. ​What if I realize I can't come after I've already registered?
​Please cancel your spot through Luma as soon as you know you can't make it. Our events are free, so they often reach capacity quickly. Giving up your spot sooner rather than later gives the best chance that someone else can attend and enjoy the talk.
​Will there be food/drink?
​Sometimes we're lucky, and our hosts provide refreshments, though this isn't always possible. In this case, Deck have graciously offered food and drinks during the networking portion.
​When you say "women" in tech, what do you mean?
​We create and hold this space for anyone who identifies as a woman (cis or trans) and gender-diverse people, including identities like nonbinary, Two-Spirit, gender fluid, genderqueer, agender, and others.
​When you say women in "tech," what do you mean?
​We cover STEAM topics, usually with a fun spin and always with an amazing speaker.
