Do creators need a moral codex? Where's your line?

​We design and build things that end up shaping how other people spend their time and money. Most days we focus on our deadlines, our clients' requests, or tasks for the next sprint. Let's pause to ask whether we're comfortable with what we're making.

​On Tuesday evening, we will talk about the moral aspects of our work. Do not expect a lecture. We'll start with a few stories and then open a discussion, so come ready to share your opinion and hear what others think.

​Some of what we'll get into:

• ​Do you have a line you won't cross? Where is it?

• ​"I just build what the client asks for" – fair position, or convenient excuse?

• ​Have you ever pushed back on something? How did it go?

​This event is for designers, product people, developers, researchers, and anyone else who makes digital products or services for a living. Suitable for juniors as well as seasoned experts.
