KU AI x ChatGPT Lab: So you think you know ChatGPT?
Ever feel like everyone is using ChatGPT, but no one is really talking about how they are using it? Some people use it to study smarter, organize their lives, brainstorm ideas, or get unstuck on assignments. Other times, it starts doing too much of the thinking for you.
This event is about exploring that space in between, the creative, helpful, and thoughtful ways ChatGPT can support student life without becoming a shortcut for the work that matters.
💬 What we’ll do
You’ll join a small group of students and start with a real conversation. Your group will choose a use case to explore, whether that is homework help, note-taking, job prep, time management, project planning, or something more unexpected.
Then you’ll test it live with ChatGPT, play around with prompts, refine your approach, and figure out what actually works in practice.
📚 What you’ll get
Every participant will receive a free copy of OpenAI’s 100 Chats for College Students, a limited-edition collection of student-tested examples showing how ChatGPT can actually be useful in college.
We’ll also be giving away ChatGPT Plus prizes to the winning team.
💻 What to bring
Bring a laptop, bring a friend, or just bring your emotional support water bottle. If you come alone, don’t worry, we’ll help you meet people.
