Women Founders Network: Mary Ullmann Japhet

​Join us for this month’s Women Founders Network as we welcome Mary Ullmann Japhet, owner & founder of Japhet Media!

​Storytelling with intent and purpose is the thread that runs through Mary Ullmann Japhet’s decades-long career as a communications professional, and she tells those stories with enthusiasm and passion. The owner and founder of Japhet Media LLC, Mary provides public relations, media training and video and audio production services for companies, nonprofit organizations, and individual leaders.

​Prior to founding Japhet Media in June 2019, Mary spent 18 years as the Senior Vice President of Communications & Community Engagement for San Antonio Sports, the local sports commission. She oversaw the local organizing committee’s public relations and marketing strategies for four NCAA Men’s Final Fours, two NCAA Women’s Final Fours and numerous other national and international sporting events, which garnered more than $853 million in direct economic impact for the community.

​Women Founders Network is a monthly meetup hosted by Geekdom and Launch SA designed to create a welcoming space for women founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect, share experiences, and support one another through every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
