Warsaw Creative Club: Ukrainian Cooking Workshop: Varenyky, Wine & Good Company
An evening of Ukrainian cooking, shared tables, and wine.
What we're making:
Borscht - we'll help prep it together, and then wait for it to be cooked whilst we prepare everything else
Pampushki: warm, garlicky, and best eaten straight from the tray
Cherry vareniki: soft, slightly sweet, and worth the sticky fingers
This isn’t a polished masterclass, no pressure to get everything perfect.
It’s slower than that, a bit messy, very hands-on, and built around the idea that cooking is better when you’re doing it with other people.
We’ll sit down at the end and eat everything together, but first we make it.
I’ll guide things, but this is as much about the atmosphere as it is the food.
Expect shared boards, a bit of chaos around the dough, and the kind of conversations that only really happen when everyone’s doing something with their hands.
Wine will be flowing throughout - nothing fancy, just something good enough to keep everything moving.
Come hungry. We’ll earn the meal.
