Sunday Vinyl Service Vol. 17

Nigeria turned 66 on October 1st, and wax. is throwing the after-party. Sunday Vinyl Service Vol. 17 is a full night of classic Nigerian afrobeats, from Fela's hypnotic grooves to Wande Coal's smooth hits to Burna Boy's big moments and everything in between. Expect the songs your aunties and uncles played on repeat, the ones you know every word to, and the ones you'll be asking someone to Shazam by midnight.

Folake will be on the decks with vinyl and CDJs, so you'll get that warm crackle of wax alongside the sharper mixes. And yes, there will be jollof rice. Come hungry, come ready to dance, and wear your best green and white if you feel like it. Orchid House in Amsterdam is where we're celebrating freedom, good music, and a very proper Sunday service.
