​We have the pleasure to host Jaime Raldúa Veuthey, CEO of Apart Research, an AI safety nonprofit whose global hackathons and fellowships have brought thousands of newcomers into the AI safety field. Apart is also currently working with the EU AI Office, writing the evaluations that will be used to enforce the EU AI Act starting this August, and they're hiring technical project managers and research scientists.

​Before Apart, Jaime founded a data consultancy serving EA animal welfare and global health organizations.

​Jaime will share his career path, an overview of the changing landscape of AI Safety and his takes on how to have an effective career.
