About Event

Everyone is talking about Artificial Intelligence. It's changing culture faster than anyone can keep up. On the one hand, many people are scared of what AI could do to humanity. On the other hand, some people describe the incredible innovations AI will deliver. Keeping up as a leader in the church is dizzying. As Bay Area pastors, we feel the burden of speaking into the chaos.

Join us as we sort through the different opinions and recommendations for a clear and practical overview on some of the issues related to AI. We will focus on three main areas: CONSIDERING a theology of AI; LEVERAGING AI for good; and PROTECTING our people from the potential dangers of AI.

Featuring speakers from the technology industry, church leaders, and theological education. Join Justin Lester (@thattechpastor), Sherol Chen (Google AI Researcher), Adam Kronk (University of Notre Dame), Andy Yang (Former Meta Trust & Safety), Jess Chin (The Liminal Group), Dianne Flynn (ReBoot Accel), Jason Reynolds (Emmanuel Church), Paul Taylor (Faith, Work & Tech), Filipe Santos (Echo.Curch), Phil EuBank (Menlo Church), Jay Kim (Westgate Church) and others.
