Why your new hires and AI agents fail
Live session and Q&A! 🔴
this is the talk on how modern onboarding should look like - and definitely how it shouldnt!!
Most companies pay for onboarding twice. Once in the weeks before someone is useful, and again every time a senior stops working to explain something nobody ever wrote down.
Here's how it usually goes ⬇️ :
new person joins, gets a folder of documents and a recorded walkthrough
three days later they're asking a senior the things the folder doesn't cover (or they've never actually read it)
three months later the next person joins and asks the same things again
maybe more "onboarding meetings"? more files and calls?
The folder isn't the problem. We know more than we can tell!
Ask someone to write down how they do their job and you get the part they can put into words, which is never the part that took three years to learn.
The same thing now happens with AI agents. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read what you wrote down. Almost nothing about how your company really works was ever written down, so they guess.
What you'll learn? 🎯
What bad onboarding looks like, and why almost every company still has it
What good onboarding looks like, built around one hour from the person who knows
How to get an AI agent answering about your company instead of guessing
What to fix first, and what can wait
Who it's for:
Managers who end up teaching instead of working
Founders whose company runs on what only they know
HR and talent leads who watch the same ramp-up repeat with every hire
