Rocketry Basics Course
BASICS OF ROCKETRY COURSE 🚀🚀🚀
The course consists of a few days where you get to learn the theory, safety and legislation behind rocketry and build and launch your own rocket!
You don’t need to have an engineering background to participate, just enthusiasm is required. In the future ASA will hold a steady stream of rocketry events where a completed basics course is mandatory to participate. After completing the course you can fly at our and our partner’s events.
Here are the preliminary dates and times, the lecture and workshops are held in Design Factory:
29.9. 16:00 Theory lecture at "The Hub" (3hr)
2.10. 16:00 Workshop 1 Factory (3hr)
3.10. 16:00 Workshop 2 Factory (3hr)
12.10. 13:00 Flight day (weather reservation)
A seperate confirmation email, with payment details will be sent to those accepted to the course. You also need to be an official Aalto Space Association member, but that can be done later. Make sure you can attend all of the dates. The course language will be selected upon demand, but not to worry because the course will be hosted again soon in your preferred language!
