Surreal Dinner Series: AI & Religion- Does AI Bring us closer to or further from God?
Making the surreal, real. Join us for Surreal in San Francisco, a dinner series held at art galleries exploring the latest in AI.
This is a timely conversation - Anthropic recently convened religious leaders to discuss how to build morality into AI, and their Chief of Staff recently wrote about "Searching for God in Silicon Valley."
Few questions cut deeper than the ones we're gathering around this month: as AI grows more capable, are we creating new life and consciousness, moral and ethical implications, and does speaking with AI all day make us more or less spiritual?
We'll spend the evening on the intersection of faith and intelligence, from AI as a companion in spiritual practice to the older, harder questions it stirs about meaning, doubt, and what makes us human.
Come curious, whatever you believe.
Speakers include:
Zvika Krieger, Rabbi at Chochmat HaLev
Paul Taylor, Founder of Bay Area Center for Faith

Surreal
Surreal is a monthly dinner series & technical community run by Premise.
The series is held at art galleries as we believe that technologists are inspired by creative environments when they invent new technology products, and that the same creativity that inspires artists, inspires technologists.
