Colouring the Senses
聞いて、かいで、さわって、描く。英語で楽しむ60分のアートワークショップ Listen, smell, touch and paint. A 60-minute art workshop in English.
音楽を聞き、香りをかぎ、手ざわりを確かめながら、感じたことを色と形にしていきます。使う道具の名前も、色や形を表すことばも、ぜんぶ英語で。「英語で伝えたい」という気持ちが、ことばを自然に引き出します。
Children listen to music, smell scents and feel textures, then turn what they sense into colour and shape. The names of the tools, the words for colours and shapes – all in English. Wanting to say something in English is what brings the words out.

GAJYUKU Monzen-nakacho Studio 1F Kikuchi Building, 2-10-10 Furuishiba, Koto-ku, Tokyo 135-0045 9 min from Monzen-nakacho Sta. (Tokyo Metro Tozai / Toei Oedo Line) / 8 min from Etchujima Sta. (JR Keiyo Line) There is no car or bicycle parking. Please come by public transport.

Minami Morris ミナミ・（タガキ）・モリスは、東京を拠点に活動するマルチディシプリナリーアーティスト兼クリエイティブ・エデュケーターです。絵画、ドローイング、身体表現、写真といった多様な表現を横断しながら制作を行っています。 Minami (Tagaki) Morris is a Tokyo-based multidisciplinary artist and creative educator whose practice explores identity, memory, perception, and human connection, working across painting, drawing, movement, and photography.

当日の流れ / The hour · 60 min
0–5 min｜Welcome & Today's words：あいさつと、今日使う英語のことばの紹介
5–10 min｜Listening Game：聞こえた英語の単語に答えるウォーミングアップ
10–20 min｜Piece 1 – Listen and paint：音楽を聞いて、感じたことを描く
20–30 min｜Piece 2 – Smell, touch and paint：香りと手ざわりを感じて、もう一枚
30–43 min｜Piece 3 – All together：これまでの感覚を合わせて最後の一枚
43–50 min｜Reflection：作品をふりかえり、仕上げる
50–60 min｜Show & Tell：保護者も入室し、子どもたちの発表を見学 ※時間配分はめやすです。今日のことばと絵カードは机の上に置いてあるので、単語を思い出せなくても大丈夫です。 Timings are a guide; today's words and picture cards stay on the table, so no one gets stuck on a word.

ご予約の前に / Before you book
・香りを使います。アレルギーの有無を予約フォームで必ずお知らせください。/ We use scents. Please tell us about any allergies on the booking form.
・英語が初めてでも参加できます。/ Children new to English are welcome.
・記録のため写真・動画を撮影します。掲載の可否は予約フォームでお選びいただけます。/ We photograph and film the session. You can choose how the images may be used.
・水彩絵の具を使います。汚れてもよい服装でお越しください。材料・道具はすべてご用意します。/ We use watercolor paint, so please wear clothes that can get messy. We provide all materials.
・授業中、保護者の方は室外でお待ちください。最後の10分（Show & Tell）からご入室いただけます。/ Parents wait outside during the session and join for the last ten minutes.
・予約受付：10月10日（土）10:00〜11月22日（日）23:59（各セッション先着10名）/ Booking: 10:00 Sat 10 October to 23:59 Sun 22 November (10 places per session, first come, first served)
・キャンセル・返金：開催14日前（11月9日）まで手数料を除き返金、13〜7日前（11月10日〜16日）は50%返金、6日前（11月17日）以降は返金なし。詳しくは予約時の規約をご確認ください。/ Cancellations: refund less fees up to 9 Nov, 50% from 10 to 16 Nov, no refund from 17 Nov. Full terms are shown when you book.
・講師の体調不良などの場合は、がじゅくの英語講師が担当します。/ If Minami Morris is unable to teach, a GAJYUKU English teacher will lead the session.
よくあるご質問 / FAQ
Q. 英語が話せなくても大丈夫？ / Does my child need to speak English?
A. 大丈夫です。単語で答えるやりとりが中心で、理由や感想は日本で話してもかまいません。/ No. Most of the exchange is single words, and children may give reasons and thoughts in Japanese.
Q. 持ち物は？ / What should we bring?
A. 持ち物はありません。水彩絵の具・パレット・筆・水彩紙はご用意します。汚れてもよい服装でお越しください。/ Nothing. We provide watercolour paint, palettes, brushes and watercolour paper. Please wear clothes that can get messy.
Q. 作品は持ち帰れる？ / Can my child take their work home?
A. はい。作品とホームワークシートをお持ち帰りいただけます。/ Yes. Children take home their paintings and a homework sheet.
Q. がじゅくに通っていなくても参加できる？ / Can children who don't attend GAJYUKU join?
A. どなたでもご参加いただけます。/ Yes, everyone is welcome.
