VIETNAM SPACE WEEK 2026 - SPACE ECONOMY DIALOGUE
The Organizing Committee of Vietnam Space Week 2026, in partnership with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) as Strategic Partner, is honored to invite you to the Space Economy Dialogue, the first gathering dedicated to the space economy ever convened under Vietnam Space Week.
As space takes its place as a defining pillar of global cooperation, reshaping satellites, telecommunications, data, and frontier science, where will Vietnam stand in this value chain?
The Dialogue convenes distinguished voices from the United Kingdom, leading scientists from the University of Tokyo (Japan) and CEA Saclay (France), alongside former NASA Astronaut Michael A. Baker and NASA Flight Surgeon Dr. Josef Schmid.

Mr. Michael Koetsier, International Regional Manager for Southeast Asia at Qualifications Scotland (United Kingdom), a space economy specialist and former Vice President of Skyrora (United Kingdom).
Professor Kotaro KOHNO, Director of the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Tokyo (Japan) and a principal contributor to the world's highest-altitude astronomical observatory.
Dr. Nguyen Luong Quang, Vietnamese astrophysicist at CEA Saclay (France) and founder of the "Bringing Astronomy to Remote Areas" initiative.
GUESTS OF HONOR
Mr. Michael A. Baker, Former NASA Astronaut and veteran of four Space Shuttle missions, with more than 965 hours in space.
Dr. Josef Schmid, NASA Flight Surgeon and the first person to appear via hologram aboard the International Space Station (2021)
