​Ryuichi Sakamoto held fast to his passion for music, continuing to create until the very moment his life came to an end. Built around the diaries he kept himself, and interwoven with precious private footage, portraits, and unreleased music provided with the full cooperation of his family, the film traces the final three and a half years of this singular musician's life. Sakamoto continues to hold our hearts across borders and generations even now — how did he face the end of his life, and what did he try to leave behind? The result is a documentary that will strike a chord with everyone.
