​しっかり者の女の子ミミ子の家に、体が大きくてユーモラスなパパンダと、かわいい子パンダのパンちゃんがやってくる。おまわりさんの騒動、サーカスから逃げ出したトラちゃん、町を水びたしにする大洪水——冒険の日々がつづく。高畑勲が監督、宮崎駿が原案・脚本・画面設定を手がけた、スタジオジブリ誕生以前の原点ともいえる2作品を一挙上映。

​「夏休みの映画館 2026」参加企画。上映の合間の12:20からは、映写技師・神田麻美さんとフィルム技術者・郷田真理子さんによるワークショップ「映画のフィルムに触ってみよう！」も開催（30〜40分、先着順10人程度。誰でも飛び込みで参加できる体験コーナーもあります）。

​Sensible little Mimiko finds her household expanded by a big, pipe-smoking Papa Panda and his adorable cub Panny — cue policemen, an escaped circus tiger, and a town-flooding downpour. Directed by Isao Takahata from Hayao Miyazaki's story and screenplay, these two shorts are the true seedbed of Studio Ghibli.

​Presented as part of the nationwide 夏休みの映画館 (Summer Holiday Cinema) 2026 program. Between the two screenings, at 12:20, join a hands-on workshop — "Touch real film!" — led by projectionist Kanda Asami and film technician Gōda Mariko (30–40 min, first ~10 participants; a drop-in corner is open to everyone).
