Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Harvard SEAS and an Institute Investigator at the Kempner Institute, where he directs the Embodied Minds Lab and works on intelligent embodied agents. Co-author of RAX, released Oct 16, the open-source framework where a coding agent learns robot tasks through online exploration instead of demonstrations. Previously a senior research scientist at Google DeepMind, a visiting researcher at Meta's Facebook AI Research (FAIR) and a research fellow at OpenAI; now also a part-time research scientist at NVIDIA Research. PhD from MIT.

He co-founded Thesys in 2024 with Rabi Shanker Guha, and the company raised $4M in a round led by Together Fund. Previously Head of Design and a founding member at DevRev, where he led a global team of 20+ designers, and led design at Recko (acquired by Stripe).
