Part 3 of The AI Series for GTM

Most teams use ChatGPT to research accounts the same way every time: paste the company name, ask it to look them up, get back a wall of Wikipedia-level facts. It's not useless. It's just not useful enough to change what you do next.

The fix isn't a better prompt. It's an agent: something you build inside ChatGPT that tells it what to look for, what matters to your business specifically, and how to hand it back in a shape you can act on.

We'll run the same research on the same account twice. Once blank, the way most people use it. Then once with an agent loaded with your context: your ICP, the signals that actually matter to you, and the brief format your team needs. The first result is a generic company overview. The second is an account brief your rep could walk into a call with.

And if ChatGPT is the AI your team uses, this is your session.

🛠️ What you'll walk away with
A research agent blueprint you can build on: the same structure we use to turn "look up this company" into a brief that actually moves a deal forward. You'll see exactly what to feed ChatGPT so your research stops being background noise and starts being the thing your rep reads before picking up the phone. Register and we'll send you the blueprint after.

🧠 What we'll get into

  • What an agent actually is, in plain English, and how it's different from a prompt or a skill

  • The before and after, live: the same prompt, blank vs an agent built for the job

  • Why blank research gives you everything about the company except what you need to know

  • How to tell an agent what matters: ICP fit signals, deal-stage context, the brief format your team uses

  • Where your research agent compounds next: pre-call prep, pipeline reviews, new-logo prioritisation

🎟️ The ChatGPT session, third of four
This one's for teams running on ChatGPT. The series started with the foundations session, Claude got its own deep-dive on the 30th of July, and Copilot gets the final one on the 27th of August. Come to the one that matches what you're already on.

💬 Nothing to prepare
There's nothing to bring and no pitch in the room. We work off real examples, and if you fancy it you can bring your own target account and we'll run the before and after on it live.

🎯 Who it's for
Revenue leaders and teams who research accounts before calls and wish the output was actually useful. CROs, CMOs, RevOps, AEs, anyone who'd rather walk into a meeting knowing the one thing that matters than holding a generic company summary.

🛠️ Who's hosting
Jake and Jess from Engineered GTM. We help revenue teams build this stuff in-house. Not done-for-you, not a tool, the actual capability. The session's free. If you want us to scope and build your version on your stack afterwards there's a paid thing for that, but you'll get plenty just turning up.

Free. Recorded, because we know you're busy. See you there 👋
