AI and the Future of Work in the EU (w/ The AI Collective)
AI adoption is moving faster than the institutions built to absorb its consequences — and the labour market is where this shows up first. Entry-level roles are disappearing before new graduates get the chance to fill them, teams are being redesigned around human and AI-agent capacity, and automation is reaching into sectors that assumed they were insulated.
The harder question underneath it all: who actually gets to decide how work is reorganised — governments, big tech, or society itself? And where does the EU AI Act sit in that debate — a constraint, a floor, or a starting point for something more ambitious?
AI Collective Bucharest is bringing together four speakers — from public policy & government, the corporate world, the AI/automation industry, and a hands-on AI founder and developer— to move the conversation from general anxiety toward specific, actionable positions for a Romanian and EU audience.
