🩷 She Leads Tech Practice: Hands-On Sorting Algorithms with Emily Flynn
TypeScript / JavaScript | Live Problem Solving
Join us for a hands-on coding session where we’ll practise solving LeetCode-style problems together.
This is a practice-first session, not a theory class. You’ll have time to think through problems, discuss different approaches, code collaboratively, and learn from other developers.
🎯 What to Expect
Live LeetCode problem solving
Small breakout rooms of around 3–4 people
Pair programming and collaborative problem solving
Comparing different approaches
Discussing time and space complexity
Group solution walkthrough and Q&A
The specific problem, topic and difficulty level will be shared closer to the session.
🤝 Breakout Room Rules
We want everyone to have the opportunity to participate.
Speak once, then make space for someone else.
Give everyone a chance to contribute.
Guide, don’t take over.
Allow people time to think before giving the answer.
Respect different experience levels and solving speeds.
Keep feedback constructive and supportive.
No judgement, competition or dismissive behaviour.
You can choose to drive and write the code, navigate and help with the logic, or collaborate through discussion. There is no pressure to live code.
💻 What You’ll Need
A laptop
A free LeetCode account
Basic JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge
🕚 Session Time
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The main session and solution walkthrough may be recorded, but breakout rooms are private and will not be recorded.
👩💻 Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome.
Whether you’re building confidence with LeetCode or already have experience and want consistent practice, you’re welcome to join.
You don’t need to be a LeetCode expert.
💻 Come ready to code, collaborate, ask questions, explain your thinking and learn from others.
The focus is practice, not perfection — everyone should leave having contributed and learned something.
